What helps you with mind over matter? Do you use daily affirmations? Positive thinking and planting goals in the subconscious mind can make an effect on the physical healing. Something that we can all experience. We can discuss a helpful affirmation for you in our next session.

That feeling of being at home in your body. Comfortable, relaxed and at peace. Coming home after a weekend away, we feel it when we slide into that way of being. Acupuncture as a mind body therapy helps with this feeling of relaxation and comfort in our own skin. Do you have it? Do you need more of it?

Summer is upon us, that means travel for many people in the Northeast. My patient once said, "It's good to let a different light through the eyes". Have you ever noticed that when you travel there is a different light? I always notice this when I get off an airplane. The light in the Caribbean is very different from that of the fields of Tuscany. In our experience, travel is good for our mental health.

Wherever you go this summer, know that you can always return for any reason to our clinic. We will be here when you get back. Wishing you safe travels 🧳

Make time and space for healing. Laughing gets your internal organs moving. Endorphins flow and a natural release of tension occurs. Sleep is a time when your cells repair, new tissue forms and healing occurs. Sometimes the best sleep occurs after some good belly laughing.
