Summer-Week 1: Out of This World

🛸 Mission accomplished! Space Week launched us into a summer full of fun, creativity, and therapy adventures. Our patients explored the solar system, completed astronaut-worthy challenges, and made amazing progress along the way. 🚀🌙

May is Better Hearing and Speech Month! So we can’t let another day go by without showing our appreciation for our very own Mrs. Charlotte! She brings so much experience and fun into our clinic! Thank you for how you love our kiddos! You are the BEST!!

Games like Battleship are more than just fun in occupational therapy sessions for teens! 🎯

While playing, kids are working on important skills like problem solving, strategic thinking, visual perception, attention, memory, impulse control, and communication — all in a low-pressure, engaging way. Games also help build social skills, frustration tolerance, confidence, and flexible thinking while encouraging meaningful interaction with peers and therapists.

The best therapy often happens when our patients don’t even realize how hard they’re working. 💙
