Esaul and Grecia Ramos, the husband-and-wife duo behind 2M Smokehouse, are officially Food Network’s “Pitmasters” champions! The couple battled through a week of barbecue competition to win the debut season — and a cool $30,000 prize. 💰🍖

Fancy comfort food!

A nice mantecatura treatment on our savory pasta cradles the organically harvested venison in a San Marzano tomato reduction, accented with a fresh sprig of parsley from our garden.

It has been almost a year since Ken Taylor and Steve Grams were on Food Network’s and hosted our Watch Party. So, we thought we would cook a little this week.

Grilled pork steak drizzled with a rich Beurre blanc sauce accompanied by a mushroom and street corn infused risotto. Lana made a beautiful watermelon, feta mint salad. We chose a beautiful French Sauvignon Blanc from Domain Mosaic to accompany the meal, and it paired perfectly. What a beautiful evening.

How Many Grams had a beautiful weekend cooking at the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center’s Bulverde BBQ Bash. The weather was gorgeous (the opposite of last year) and the company of friends was perfect! Bulverde liked our food as we were awarded with 9th Brisket, 8th Beans, 5th Ribs and Lana defended her 1st place Cooks Choice with her Lana Poppers (“Loppers”). Congratulations to everyone who had their number called.
