Debra Viola Rehnstrom was born December 18, 1954 to Robert and Lois (Mudge) Rehnstrom in Storm Lake, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at Center Grove Evangelical Free Church in Alta, Iowa. Debra attended school at Fairview Elementary through third grade. She then attended Aurelia School, graduating in 1974.

On December 30, 1977, Debra was united in marriage to James Condit at Center Grove Evangelical Free Church in Alta.

Debra worked as a nursing assistant in nursing homes and hospitals for many years. Later in life, she worked at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Following retirement, Debra served as a volunteer at the medical center. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to live bands and dancing. She had many good friends who shared her love of music. She was a proud aunt and great aunt. Debra is remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Michael Erickson, age 72, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died August 14, 2026 at Accura Healthcare in Cherokee, Iowa.

Visitation will take place Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 3-5:00 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Memorial services will take place at a later date. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Michael was born April 13, 1954 to Leonard and Darlene (Moritz) Erickson in Storm Lake, Iowa. He was later united in marriage to Noreen Kay Irwin. The couple was blessed with one daughter, Dawn Kruger.

Michael worked as a laundry room attendant at Bil-Mar foods in Storm Lake. After work, he enjoyed watching wrestling and going for drives. More than anything, Michael treasured time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish Michael’s memory include his wife, Noreen Erickson; daughter: Dawn (Patrick) Kruger; grandchildren: Dameyon Kruger, Layton Kruger, Serenity Kruger, Alexis Kruger, and Adalyn Kruger; extended family and friends.

Carol Ann Dreith, age 83, of Storm Lake, Iowa died August 17, 2026 at Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

Memorial services will take place Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Storm Lake. Burial will be at a later date in Utah. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Carol Ann Peterson Dreith was born on June 21, 1943, in Logan, Utah to Gilbert and Carma Peterson. She attended Utah State University and was a car hop at one time. In 1975, she married Richard (Dick) Dreith in Las Vegas, Nevada. Each brought children to the union, Richard brought two daughters and a son and Carol brought two daughters. From that day forward, if anyone asked Carol how many children she had, she always said five. If asked which ones were hers and which ones were Dick’s she would invite them to guess, but she would not divide her five children by his or hers…they were “ours”.

Carol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She made sure to take her children to church and woke them up at 5:00 a.m. every morning to get them to early morning seminary during their four years of high school. She held many callings over the years, she was a devoted Relief Society President and Temple worker. Carol was a girl scout leader, a director of Tehachapi’s Junior Miss for many years, a seamstress who sewed countless prom dresses and uniforms for her...

Tom Miller, age 64, of Alta, Iowa died Tuesday, August 11, 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Memorial services will take place Monday, August 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Schaller. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Schaller. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in SCHALLER. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.

Thomas Dean Miller was born on May 16, 1962, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Donald and Arlene (Lansink) Miller. As an infant, he was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Schaller, where he was later confirmed.

Tom grew up in Schaller and attended school there, graduating from Schaller High School in 1980.

On April 4, 1994, Tom was united in marriage to Lorrie Leask. Together, they were blessed with three children, Sarah, Samuel, and Shelby. The couple later divorced.

Tom worked at Re*****on Seed in Schaller and also worked as a farmhand. He especially enjoyed working on the farm and the many rewards that came with it.

Tom was a longtime member of the Schaller Jaycees. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, visiting the casino, and playing cards. Most of all, Tom cherished the time he spent with his family and friends and the memories they made together.

Paul Nicolaus Johannes Boisen was born on March 15, 1938, in Early, Iowa, the son of Henry and Henrietta (Reineke) Boisen. As an infant, he was baptized at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where he was later confirmed on April 6, 1952.

Paul attended school in Early where he graduated from high school. During his high school years he was active in many sports and played in the school band.

On June 3, 1961, Paul was united in marriage to Sharon Flodin in Duluth, Minnesota. Together, they were blessed with two children, Ron and Ricky.

Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. During his military career he was stationed at many Air Force bases around the world including tours in both Thailand and Vietnam. Paul worked as a hydraulic mechanic on a variety of aircraft, including the Douglas A-1 Skyraider, Lockheed 121 Radar Constellation (Connie), F-102, F-104, F-105, and F-4 Phantom fighter jets. Judy Ann Samuelson, 82, of Kearney, Nebraska, passed away on August 10, 2026, at Bryan Health in Lincoln, Nebraska.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at First Lutheran Church in Kearney, NE on August 15 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. There will be a celebration of life service and burial at Elfsborg Lutheran Church in Pomeroy, IA on August 29, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Judy was born on June 14, 1944, and was raised on a farm near Palmer, Iowa. She attended a one-room country schoolhouse and graduated from Palmer High School in 1963.

After high school, Judy pursued her dream career as a travel agent. She began working with Travel and Transport in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She spent nearly 40 years helping others create unforgettable vacations and travel experiences. Through her career, she also enjoyed traveling the world herself, with favorite destinations including Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, and Australia. She loved sharing stories of her adventures, especially her first trip to Hawaii and staying at the Coco Palms Resort shortly after Elvis Presley filmed Blue Hawaii there.

On June 11, 1966, Judy married Curtis Samuelson. Together they farmed near Fonda, Iowa, where Judy also worked at Powhatan Travel Agency. In 1992, they moved to Kearney, Nebraska, where Judy continued her career with Holiday Tour & Travel and later AAA Travel. Her warm personality and dedication to her clients earned her many lifelong friendships and loyal customers.
