Tempus Unlimited, Inc was proud to attend and support the National Self-Direction Conference!

The continuation of Applied Self-Direction's biannual conferences, the event served as a focal point for all variety of stakeholders in Self-Direction, from the Participants and Care Workers themselves, to the Agencies, Advocate, Government Entities, and Fiscal Intermediaries that support them. Tempus has sent a delegation of attendees to these gatherings for many years, sharing and gaining knowledge on the many interpretations of Self-Direction across the nation.

For the second conference in a row, Tempus enjoyed the unique privilege to sponsor the Karaoke Afterparty, which serves as a joyful endcap to full days of plenaries, break-out sessions, and direct conversations. 🎵🎤🎉

The Employment Services department provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and Competitive Integrated Employment supports to MBY and DDS consumers, including individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Our services support adults, college students, and high school students through Pre-Employment Training, Competitive Integrated Employment Services, Career Exploration and Engagement (Assessment/Evaluation), Employment Based Skills Training and Work Experience Skills Training, Job Development and Placement, and on/off the job support.

The Employment Services program is committed to helping individuals build skills, gain meaningful work experience, and achieve employment goals within their communities.

This week, our team had the opportunity to visit Randolph High School to share information about our Adult Foster Care and Personal Care Management services.

During the session, our staff connected with families, answered questions, and provided insights into the in-home supports available through these programs. Attendees were able to learn more about how these services can help individuals maintain their independence while receiving the care they need in a comfortable, familiar environment.
