Last week, Gilead Sciences announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had accepted their application for a once-weekly oral version of lenacapavir, sold as Yeztugo, for HIV prevention. πŸ”¬

A weekly pill would offer yet another alternative, and having more options means more people can find a prevention method that works for them. πŸ’ŠπŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ

The FDA is expected to decide on approval of weekly lenacapavir PrEP pills by February 2, 2027, which could make it the first longer-acting oral PrEP option. πŸ“…

On June 28, 1969, the LGBTQ+ community said enough β€” and fought back. That night sparked a movement.

Now, 50+ years later, we march, we dance, we love loudly β€” and we never forget the ones who made it possible.
