We hope you get out and hit the slopes like our UVM PT student Carlos this weekend!

Carlos has been with us for 8 weeks and we say goodbye today as he heads back to UVM to complete his studies! Feel free to leave any words of wisdom and positive feedback to him if you worked with Carlos these past 8 weeks! Congrats Carlos and be sure to swing back down when you are in the area and say hi πŸ‘‹

Dry needling is a targeted technique that uses thin, sterile needles to release trigger pointsβ€”tight bands within muscle tissue that contribute to pain, tension, and limited mobility. While it may look similar to acupuncture, dry needling is based on modern anatomical and neurological science, and is especially effective for musculoskeletal conditions.

Dry needling is offered at our Dorset & Stratton Locations to current patients. We do require an initial physical therapy examination to assess if you are a good candidate and it is safe based on your medical history.

Whether you’re dealing with nagging shoulder pain, neck/back pain, migraines/headaches, sciatica, or a nagging calf/hamstring strain this technique can help relax stubborn muscles, improve blood flow, and accelerate your recovery.

Benefits of Dry Needling:
* Reduces muscle tightness and knots
* Eases joint pain and tension
* Improves range of motion
* Speeds up recovery from training or injury
* Complements your rehab for faster results

πŸ’‘ How It Works
During your initial evaluation, we identify the root cause of your discomfort, then use dry needling to target the exact muscles contributing to your pain. Most patients experience immediate relief and improved movement following treatment.
