Today, we announce the upcoming departure of our APRN, Katie Rystrom, after 11 years at Prairie Creek Family Medicine. Her last day will be Friday, June 5th.

The impact Katie has made and the lives she has touched over the years are truly incalculable. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and genuine spirit allowed her to form meaningful connections with so many patients and coworkers alike.

Katie has been an important part of the Prairie Creek family, and while she will be greatly missed, we are incredibly thankful for the care, compassion, and dedication she has shared throughout the years.

Please join us in thanking Katie for her 11 years of service and wishing her the very best in her next chapter!

The 2026 Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, March 28th in the Stromsburg square from 11am-1pm. We are looking for individuals or businesses that would like to sponsor this event for the community. You can drop off wrapped candy or monetary donations at the Stromsburg Prairie Creek Family Medicine location. Donations need to be received by Monday, March 23rd. Thank you!
