Marcia Anne (Melson) Hamilton, a lifelong part of the Stroud, Oklahoma community, was born on September 27, 1952, in Stroud to Dr. Jack and Gwen Melson. She graduated from Stroud High School in 1970 and followed in the footsteps of her father by pursuing a career in dentistry. She attended and completed the dental hygiene program at Rose State College, continuing a family tradition of caring for others.

Marcia was married to Charles Reid until his passing, and later to Stephen Smith until his passing. On November 20, 2004, she married Randy Hamilton, who remained her loving husband.

Faith was an important part of Marcia’s life. Growing up, she regularly attended Stroud Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), where her faith helped shape the kindness and love she shared with others throughout her life.

Above all else, Marcia treasured her family, especially her grandchildren. She absolutely adored each of them and made it a priority to attend their events and activities whenever she was able. Her love and support were felt in the stands, at special occasions, and in the many memories she created with them. She found joy in shopping, traveling, and arts and crafts. One of her special gifts to her family was creating scrapbooks for all of her grandchildren, preserving treasured memories that they will be able to cherish for years to come.

Marcia had a special way of making people feel loved. She welcomed others with kindness, cared deeply for those around her, and had a heart that seemed to have room for everyone. Her warmth, generosity, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Randy Hamilton; her children and grandchildren, who were such a treasured part of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Armstrong, and her children, Hunter Armstrong; Dalton Armstrong and his wife, Allison, and their son, Miles Jo Armstrong; and Hayden Armstrong.

She is also survived by her daughter, Lori Hall, and her husband, Larry, and their children, Garrett Hall, Wyatt Hall, and Makenna Hall.

Her daughter, Renae Lindsey, also survives her, along with her children, Trey Lindsey, Jordan Lindsey, and Olivia Lindsay.

Marcia is further survived by her son, Stephen Lynn Smith, and his wife, Lori.

Her son Kevin Smith and his children, Destiny Smith, Trystan Smith and his wife, Shania, and Kyran Smith;

She also leaves behind Bridget Smith; Janay Cline; and Chance McClendon and their child, Copeland.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Jack and Gwen Melson; her sister, Sandra Melson; her husbands, Charles Reid and Stephen Smith; and Seth Cline.

Marcia’s life was defined by faith, family, and a genuine love for others. The memories she created, the traditions she passed down, and the kindness she showed so freely will live on through the many lives she touched. Donna Williams Wallace was born to Harold and Jo Williams on September 5, 1943, in Oakland, California. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Hobbs, New Mexico, where she was raised and eventually graduated from Hobbs High School.
At the age of 14, Donna placed her faith in Jesus Christ at Castle Avenue Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. It was there that she came to understand that Jesus was the only way to heaven, that His death paid the price for her sin, and that His resurrection provided the way to eternal life. Donna placed her trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and because of her faith, her family and friends can have the assurance that she is now home in heaven with her Savior.
Donna’s greatest joys in life were her children, her family, and singing. She dearly loved her children and was intentional about investing in their lives. Whether spending time together, talking, or simply sharing everyday moments, Donna treasured the time she had with them and the relationships they built.
Singing was one of Donna’s greatest passions throughout her life, from her childhood through her years as a mother and even into her final days. She loved playing the piano, picking out notes and harmonies, and teaching her children to sing. Music was more than a hobby to Donna; it was a special way she expressed her love and created lasting memories with those closest to her. In her latter days, Donna mentioned that she struggled to sing and looked forward to singing again in heaven.
On August 3, 1981, Donna married Charley Wallace, beginning a partnership filled with many cherished memories. Together, they enjoyed traveling and took several trips around the country. They also treasured their Saturday morning breakfast gatherings with friends, enjoying the fellowship and simple pleasures of time spent together.
Christmas was one of Donna’s favorite times of the year. She loved bringing her family together to celebrate, but perhaps nothing brought her greater joy than giving gifts. Donna had a generous heart and gave freely, sometimes even to a fault. For her, it was never about the size of the gift or finding the perfect present. It was about giving, sharing, and making sure everyone felt remembered and loved. She always wanted to be certain that everyone had something to open on Christmas morning.
She found great joy in serving others, especially through preparing meals for family gatherings. No matter how she was feeling, she always made sure her family was welcomed with a home-cooked meal whenever they came to visit. Her love was expressed through every dish she prepared, and she always made certain there was more than enough for everyone. Her kitchen was a place of love, generosity, and togetherness, reflecting her caring heart and the deep love she had for her family.
On October 18, 2026, Donna went home to be with her Savior from her home in Stroud, Oklahoma. Though her family and friends grieve her passing, they find comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and the assurance that she is now in His presence.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jo Williams, and her grandson, Benjamin Krueger.
She is survived by her husband, Charley Wallace, of the home; her children, Kimberley Krueger and her husband, Greg, of Sherman, Texas; Dana James and her husband, Rodney, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Julie Woods and her husband, Walter, of Yukon, Oklahoma; and Lance Garrison and his wife, Susan, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by her stepchildren, Randy Wallace and his wife, Lora, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Joseph Wallace and his wife, Tressa, of Noble, Oklahoma; and Beatrice Smith of Shawnee, Oklahoma; her brother, David Williams; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous other family members; and a host of dear friends.
Donna will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her beautiful gift of music, her generous spirit, and the faith that guided her life. The songs she sang, the gifts she gave, the food she prepared, the Dr. Pepper she drank, the memories she created, and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Though her family will miss her dearly, they rejoice in knowing that Donna is home with her Savior. Her life leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, generosity, and the enduring hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Rico Quinton Jessepe was born on October 6, 1985, in Denver, Colorado, to Mary Jo Jessepe and Edgar James Moore Jr. Throughout his life, Rico spent time living in Denver, Texas, before eventually making his way to Oklahoma, where he continued building his life and making memories with those he loved.
Rico began working at a young age, taking on construction work before also working at Temco and serving as a personal assistant at the Hampton Inn. He was a hardworking man who was never afraid to put in the effort to provide and care for those around him.
In 2022, Rico married Tania Ponkilla, beginning a new chapter of life together. While Rico had many interests and talents, one of his greatest gifts was his ability to cook. He was an exceptional cook who could bring people together through good food and the simple joy of sharing a meal. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. But above all else, Rico’s greatest joy was spending time with his children. He was a wonderful father who loved his kids deeply, and the time he spent with them meant more to him than anything.
Rico had a personality that made him memorable, and throughout his life, he collected nicknames that reflected his character and the affection people had for him. During his younger years, when he played soccer, he earned the nickname “Golden Leg,” a testament to his skills on the field. As time went on, he became known by other playful names, including “Rico Pico de Gallo” and “Rico Suave.” These nicknames were part of the unique personality that made Rico who he was and brought smiles to those who knew him.
Rico was a proud member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and was also a member of First Baptist Church in Stroud. His life was shaped by his family, friendships, interests, and the many connections he made along the way. He leaves behind memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Rico’s memory include his spouse, Tania Ponkilla; his son, Quinton Jessepe; his daughters, Tarah Terrazas and Mariah Jessepe; his brother, Edgar James Moore; and his sisters, Rica Jessepe, Tanya Jessepe, and Javene Collier. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Wiley Boone Gunter Jr., Taylor Lynn Gunter, Summer Kenee Gunter, and Karter Ponkilla, Marcel Jessepe, Carly Jessepe, Zorah Jessepe, Noam Jessepe, Lisa Prentiss, Amy Prentiss, Wesley Jessepe, Kimora Jessepe and Davain Prentiss; his aunt, Carol Jessepe; his uncle, Randall Nanaeto Sr.; and his best friends, Hilton Whitethunder and Monty Todd, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Rico was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jo Jessepe and Edgar James Moore Jr.; his brother, Randy Jessepe; his father-in-law, Gordon Mark Ponkilla; his brother-in-law, Justin Wade Ponkilla; and his good friend, Charles Ponkilla.
Though Rico’s time here has come to an end, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, the meals he prepared, and, most importantly, the love he gave to his children and family will never be forgotten. His spirit will live on through those who carry his memory in their hearts, remembering not only the life he lived but the unique and unforgettable person he was.
May Rico Quinton Jessepe be remembered with love, laughter, and the many stories that will continue to be shared for years to come.

His talent on the football field earned him a football scholarship to Southwestern Oklahoma State University. After college, Jimmie enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard, where he proudly served for more than 20 years.

In 1967, Jimmie married the former Patricia Dunlap. Together they welcomed two children, William “Kelley” and Jacqueline “Jacquie” Racheal. They later divorced in 1979.

In 2008, Jimmie married the love of his life, Linda Lou. Through Linda, he gained two stepchildren, Wayne and Jenny, and his family grew even larger. Jimmie and Linda made their home at Sooner Acres in Wharton, Texas, where they shared the rest of their lives together.

Jimmie was a lifelong and devoted Oklahoma Sooners fan. His love for OU was unmistakable, and he proudly flew his OU flag at Sooner Acres. For Jimmie, being a Sooner was more than being a fan—it was simply part of who he was.

He is survived by his son, Kelley, and his wife, JennyBelle; his daughter, Jacquie, and her husband, Brad Davis; and his stepson, Wayne, and his wife, Michelle.

His influence reached far beyond the classroom and football field, touching the lives of generations of students, athletes, friends, and family.

His legacy will live on in the lessons he taught, the lives he influenced, and the family he loved so dearly.

Rest easy, Coach.

Teresa Lynn Gore, a mother, grandmother, companion, and devoted friend to countless four-legged friends, passed away on October 3, 2026, leaving behind a life filled with love and compassion.

Teresa was born on January 18, 1953, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Howard and Marion Haight. She spent her early years in Michigan before making her way to Oklahoma in her twenties. Over the years, she found her way to Stroud, Oklahoma, a place she would eventually call home and where she made a life surrounded by the people and animals she loved.

Teresa was the proud mother of three children, Larry Gore (Jessica), Alexis Eck, and Haley Oswalt (Jason) all of whom survive her. She is also survived by her significant other, Rusty Montgomery; a brother and sister; and her grandchildren, Jack, Heidi, Presley, Augustus, Liam, Zoey, Avery, Chloe, and Haley.

If there was one thing that could truly be said to have captured Teresa’s heart, it was animals. She had a special love for dogs and seemed to have a heart big enough for every animal that crossed her path. She could not easily turn away an animal in need and was known for taking in those who needed a safe place, a little food, or simply someone to love them. Her compassion for animals was more than a passion—it was a part of who she was.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marion Haight, and her infant child, Rusty Lynn.

Though she will be deeply missed, Teresa’s love will live on in her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and in the many animals who were fortunate enough to know her love.

Graveside Service will be held, Friday, October 9, 2026 at 2pm at Stroud Cemetery.
