Gluco Lodge Personal Care Home is family owned and run, licensed personal care community. Our home is nestled in the scenic Cherry Valley of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. Our quiet, peaceful, yet energentic home is located just ten minutes from Pocono Medical Center, about 15 minutes from St. Luke's Monroe Campus, and a short driving distance from many of the Pocono Mountain area attractio

ns including fine dining, mall shopping, and family entertainment. Our vision at Gluco Lodge, is to create a community where seniors can live and practice a healthy lifestyle. To make this vision a reality we provide assitance, support, and education for all of our residence and their families. Our family has over thirty-five years of experience in the long-term health care industry and is continually expanding it's horizons. We have been offering exceptional services for over 24 years in the current location of Monroe County. Our newly constructed 51-bed home allows us to provide concentrated care for persons with diabetic health concerns but not exclusively. We focus on creating and developing individual care programs and assisting residents in learning how to manage their condition. This, in turn, fosters greater independence and dignity as they continue to meet with life's challenges. We take pride in personal care and personal attention. Our fully furnished rooms provide and easy move-in experience, but all residents are encouraged to bring their own personal belongings to ensure that their rooms are the most comfortable environment/are in fact their own. Helping a Local Resident Spread the Word - Meet Cleo! 🐾❤️

We're helping one of our beloved residents post on her behalf to find her sweet cat, Cleo, a wonderful new home where she can thrive! Her owner made the difficult decision that Cleo would be happiest in a space with more room to explore, extra stimulation, and plenty of daily interaction.

Here are a few quick details about Cleo:
- She is around 10 years old and up to date on her rabies vaccine, she is strictly an indoor cat
- Best suited as the only pet in an adults-only environment (no kids or other animals preferred)
- She is a sweet girl who just needs a patient owner who understands feline body language and will give her time to comfortably adjust to a new routine. She recently spent three weeks in a family home with zero issues!

Please note - Gluco Lodge is simply helping our resident spread the word and is not facilitating the adoption directly
