Histamines (messengers) and cytokines (proteins) are inflammation creators, interrelated but different when you learn about immune science. Kids when they get pandas pans onsets tend to have tummy, skin, sinus, etcetera responses that will pop up! For example, my 7r old daughter had blotches on her skin, my son heavy bruising, sinus issues, stomach pain, and more, all intermittent.
