Stop taking wellness advice from influencers — period!! Especially Chinese Medicine advice, which takes us from 4-6 years to learn through an advance degree. Herbal medicine is not a one-size-fits-all, and there is a chance that the products being sold to you by an influencers are not right for your body and could cause more harm than good.

“How often should I actually be getting acupuncture?” 🤔

We get asked this question a lot, especially from our pain patients. The guidelines here are really the baseline — the minimum you need to start feeling consistently better. People typically see changes and improvements within 1 or 2 sessions; maybe their pain goes away for a day or two or they have more mobility. However, it takes time to change pain patterns long term, especially with chronic pain.
