Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, New York, is a non-profit, 370-bed hospital providing emergency, medical, surgical, obstetrical / gynecological and acute care services to residents of Rockland and southern Orange Counties in New York; and northern Bergen County, New Jersey. The hospital also serves these communities as an Area Level II Trauma Center. Good Samaritan Hospital provides regional spe

cialty services, including comprehensive cancer treatment services and the first and only cardiovascular program in the lower Hudson Valley area which includes, open heart surgery, cardiac catheterization laboratory, emergency angioplasty, electrophysiology studies, and a pacemaker clinic. Good Samaritan offers a brand new Wound Care Center, and we also offer maternal/child services, including a high level II special care nursery and the Children's Diagnostic Center, which utilizes the services of pediatric subspecialists from Westchester County Medical Center. The hospital also provides social, psychiatric and substance abuse services for the area and kidney dialysis services through its Frank and Fannie Weiss Renal Center. Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Certified Home Care Agency provides home health care service to the residents of Rockland and Orange Counties, New York.

⚾💙 Healthcare is most effective when we bring it directly to the community.

On June 5, Good Samaritan Hospital's Urology Department, led by Dr. Mitchell Fraiman, partnered with the New York Boulders and Fans for the Cure to provide free prostate cancer screenings at Clover Stadium using WMCHealth's Mobile Medical Unit.

The event gave fans an opportunity to learn about prostate cancer, talk with healthcare professionals, and take an important step toward early detection. We were also honored to welcome radio/TV personality and prostate cancer advocate Ed Randall, and to have Dr. Fraiman share insights on the importance of screening and prevention in between innings.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to the many team members and partners who helped make this event possible. Together, we're helping make healthcare more accessible close to home—one conversation and one screening at a time.
