We had a full house for our very 1st Glow Dance & Karaoke Party. Residents enjoyed the glow in the dark balloons, but the most popular thing(besides karaoke) was the face painting! A perfect way to end the week! Thank you to St. Michael’s Elite Hospital for the snacks, drinks, & prizes!

We celebrated our August birthdays with sweet treats and meeting new friends. A big shout out to Teresa D who was our “spring chicken” at 99 years old! You would never believe it by how much energy she has! Never stop moving!

Our residents LOVE doing projects that benefit others! We put together 50 shoeboxes for the organization. Residents fill the boxes with small items and then Samaritan’s Purse ships them all over the WORLD to kiddos in 3rd world countries. What a great way to help kids who are not as lucky as we are here! Thank you to the residents who showed up to help! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed some great WWII history and nostalgic aircraft at the Houston Wing of the located at West Houston Airport. We even found some sketches from a former resident who used to design and paint posters for the Wings Over Houston Air Show.

Our July Summertime Fun Happy Hour was a huge success! Thank you for always getting the residents up and dancing and having a great time! There may or may not have been some water gun fights between staff and residents! 😊

Residents love getting to “stuff puppies” for the kids at Memorial Herman Children’s Hospital. We have a resident who cuts out the puppy shape, another resident who sews them leaving a small section to “stuff”, and then many residents who sit and stuff them with batting to be sewn up and then sent to to the kiddos at Memorial Herman.Such a great labor of love and teamwork that residents love to be involved with.
