🗓️ The Sugar Land office will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9AM-5PM, while the Katy office will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9AM-5PM. The Richmond office hours remain the same. 🗓️

🎤 Pediatric Center’s own Lindsey Pickrel, PA joined the Empowered Home Podcast to discuss how screens impact children’s sleep health in the episode, “Screens, Sleep & Our Kids: When the Phone Doesn't Go to Bed.” 🎤

Here's what she said about how much sleep your children need each night: “So, for younger elementary kids, you want to strive for 12 hours. I know it seems like a lot, but it's really healthy for those 4- to 8-year-olds to get 12 hours still. And then 9- to 12- [year-olds] can get 10 to 11 hours. And then the teens really need 8 to 10 hours. And if they want to sleep more, because just with homework and practice schedules and everything, like the weekends, if they do sleep in, you know, 15 hours just let them. Let them catch up.”
