Who says learning stops with age? 🎶💛

Our residents recently took part in a kalimba class, trying something new, learning new skills, and having plenty of fun along the way.

Activities like this do more than entertain. Learning an instrument can encourage concentration, coordination, cognitive engagement, creativity, and confidence, all while bringing people together through a shared experience.

At The Village, we believe residents should continue discovering, learning, and growing. Because a fulfilling life doesn't stop at retirement, and neither should opportunities to try something new.

Our Assisted Living resident, Marlene, recently shared a very special keepsake, a doll she has cherished since she was a young girl. Even more meaningful, the doll is dressed in a handmade outfit sewn by her mother many years ago.

Stories like these remind us that behind every resident is a lifetime of memories, traditions, and cherished moments that helped shape who they are today.
