💙 Healthy Blue Families — Important 2027 Update!

Beginning January 1, 2027, Healthy Blue will no longer be a Louisiana Medicaid health plan.

Families will need to choose a new plan during the special enrollment period — but the good news is, you’ll still have options! 🙌

💚 P.E.D.I. Therapy Services is in-network with Louisiana Healthcare Connections (LHC) and working on becoming in-network with other plans.

Our goal is to have smooth transitions for all patients using Healthy Blue to avoid interruptions to therapy services.

Be sure to check that your child’s providers are in-network before choosing your new plan!

Hi! My name is Avery Miller! I am the owner and Speech-Language Pathologist at P.E.D.I. Therapy Services.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and completed my master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge (Geaux Tigers!)

Throughout my seven years of pediatric experience, I’ve worked in private practice, schools, early intervention, and pediatric day health care settings.

As a Sulphur native, I’m passionate about serving children and families in West Calcasieu Parish by providing personalized, play-based therapy close to home.

My goal is to provide encouraging, family-centered care that helps every child build confidence, strengthen essential skills, and make meaningful progress in everyday life. I’m honored to serve the community that I call home! 💙💛

At P.E.D.I. Therapy Services, serving children goes beyond the therapy room. We believe in giving back to the families and communities we’re fortunate to serve.

This year, we partnered with Sprinkle In Time Too to provide more than 9,000 FREE ice cream coupons to children across Calcasieu Parish! 🍦

A huge thank you to Sprinkle In Time Too, the many schools, and daycares that helped us get these coupons to children in SWLA!
