Since September 1967, SRMC has been serving patients from all over southern West Virginia.

SRMC joined the WVU Medicine family in July of 2019, and continues to focus on individualized patient care and improving the lives of those in its community.

Work continues on the WVU Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center Cancer Center as the project nears completion.

Recent progress has included metal framing, ductwork installation, demolition in the Materials Management area, and gypsum finishing. Upcoming work includes continued framing and gypsum installation, along with excavation for the canopy foundations.

Each phase of construction brings SRMC another step closer to expanding access to high-quality cancer care across the region. We look forward to continuing to share updates as the project takes shape and to celebrating the Cancer Center’s grand opening on November 10th.

WVU Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center is making important improvements to its operating room.

The renovation includes a new HVAC system, new flooring, updates to the ceilings and walls, infection-prevention cleaning, and additional improvements designed to create a safer, more modern surgical environment.

SRMC employees have adjusted schedules, supported other departments, and assisted with painting and cleaning throughout the project.

We also thank WVU Medicine Braxton County Memorial Hospital for expanding operating room availability to help meet patient needs during the renovation.

WVU Medicine Braxton County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) and WVU Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center (SRMC) are pleased to welcome Felicia Seabolt, NP, and Amy Mann, NP, to the night shift hospitalist team.

Dedicated overnight hospitalist coverage helps patients admitted during the evening and overnight hours receive timely assessments, treatment, and monitoring. It also supports continuity of care throughout each patient’s hospital stay.
