🌻Rebuilding even a tiny little business takes time, perseverance, patience and continued love and joy in doing that business. If you saw my trail of locations you’d scratch your head and ask me why am I doing this since I am at retirement age. (Florida, Arkansas, S. Carolina).
I do this because I enjoy it, I do this because I believe plants can heal us, and I do this because I want to hone my skills as I think this could be a good skill to have in our future. (IYKYK). 🪴
I had a frustrating week- firstly mailing a costly package of product that the mailing system messed up. The package never got scanned so therefore no tracking, no proof I sent it. No insurance claim possible. Everyone points the finger at the other. Investigation with several trips to the local UPS station where I dropped it off and the USPS where they supposedly pick up from that UPS station tells me ‘someone didn’t do their job’ and ‘that’s just the way it is’. All I can say is, ‘Lord- you know where that package is, maybe you can see that it gets delivered or comes back to me?’
Secondly, the labeling system I have used for 6 years, apparently upgraded their software system and ‘poof’! All my labels are gone. They are no longer in the ‘save file’. I’m estimating about 300 labels I’ve created over the last 6 years. A deep dive into that tells me ‘that’s just the way it is’ when a small company upgrades their software.
How did I handle my deep frustration? Basically doing the research in figuring out what happened so I know the facts, taking several deep breaths and counting my gratitudes for all the wonderful things in my life, a few Ashwaganda gummies this week (really helps put the chill in my internal stress), Lemon Balm tea..and believing in myself…
I shall keep moving forward…🌸☮️☺️
