Today’s workout looked a little different…

5 miles. 12,000 steps. The Ravenel Bridge. And my OG workout partner, Tracy Wainwright

We’ve put in A LOT of workouts together over the years, so getting to knock out 5 miles together this morning felt a little like the old WIT days.

There’s just something different about working out with a friend who has been there through so many versions of you. The laughs, the catching up, the “whose idea was this?” moments 😂… and somehow the miles just keep adding up.

Different workout. Same energy. Same friendship. Still putting in the work.

OG WIT vibes never really go away. 🩷 Whatever It Takes.

Today’s Garage Therapy session…

Some days I’m motivated. Some days it’s pure discipline. And some days I just need caffeine, loud music, and something heavy to lift.

Garage Therapy has become my way to shut my brain off, burn off the stress, and just put in the work.

Not chasing perfect. Just stronger, healthier, and feeling a little more like me.

Caffeine. Chaos. Whatever It Takes.

11months of progress… powered by caffeine, chaos, garage workouts, and refusing to quit on myself.

October 12, 2025: 144 lbs | BMI 27.1
September 19, 2026: 128.8 lbs | BMI 25.2

That’s 15.2 lbs down, but the scale is only one tiny piece of this story.

These pictures show the part the scale can’t measure… the strength, the definition, the confidence, and every random garage workout I squeezed in when life was life-ing.

Was I perfect? Absolutely not. Some weeks I crushed it. Some weeks I was running on caffeine, softball schedules, work, mom life, and pure determination.

But I kept coming back. That’s my biggest win. Not perfection. Not some crazy overnight transformation.
Just choosing myself over and over again, even when the motivation wasn’t there.

A little Garage Fitness.
A little WIT energy.
A whole lot of “figure it out and keep moving.”

Almost a year later, I’m 15.2 lbs lighter, stronger, more confident, and still not done.

Same girl. More muscle. More confidence. Less excuses. And honestly… I’m pretty damn proud of her.

Today’s episode of Garage Fitness… Saturday edition!

Focused on back this morning with some abs thrown in because why not torture another part of my body while my legs are STILL pi**ed about Thursday. 😅😂

Finished it off with a 2-mile power walk because apparently sore legs weren’t enough to convince me to sit my ass down.

No fancy gym. No perfect routine. Just me, my garage, some caffeine, a little chaos, and the decision to keep showing up.

Whatever It Takes… even when your legs would prefer you didn’t. 😂

It’s been a while since Emersyn and I have done a workout together, so tonight she joined me in the garage!

We stuck mostly to upper body, threw in some weighted lunges, and of course Emersyn had to turn part of the workout into her own little obstacle course. 😂

I love my workouts, but I definitely love them a little more when one of my girls decides to join me. And watching her challenge herself while also making it fun is probably my favorite part.

Today’s episode of Garage Fitness…

Full body workout tonight because I feel like it’s been a minute since I’ve really put in the work!

I’m definitely grateful to be subbing every day, but getting back into the school-day routine has seriously messed with my motivation to work out in the evenings. By the time I get home, I’m tired and convincing myself to work out is a workout all by itself. 😂

So tonight I switched things up and added in a few different exercises just to make it feel a little less repetitive and help motivate myself to get it done.

Was I motivated? Not really.
Did I show up anyway? Yep.

Sometimes you just have to change it up, turn the music up, and put in the work.
