Dr. Eric Bolster, physician partner and Vice-President of Palmetto Primary Care Physicians, was recently voted BEST INTERNIST by
readers of HealthLinks Charleston Magazine!
Dr. Bolster is an Internal Medicine Physician and the CEO and co-founder of Palmetto Clinical Research. Originally from Durham, North Carolina, He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors degree in chemistry. He was awarded an Armed Forces Scholarship and attended Duke University School of Medicine where he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine. His Internal Medicine Residency was performed at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia, where he was awarded Most Outstanding Senior Resident. He then served as staff Internist at the Charleston Naval Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Bolster has been in private practice as an Internal Medicine physician since 1993 and later joined Palmetto Primary Care Physicians in 2009. He currently practices at our Oakbrook Internal Medicine office off of Trolley Road in Summerville.
