Your job is to plant the seed, not change their heart. Don't get your role and God's role mixed up.

The weight of trying to fix everyone.
The exhaustion of carrying burdens that aren't yours.
That crushing feeling when your words don't land.
The guilt when someone walks away unchanged.

You've been carrying a weight that was never meant to be yours. Every conversation where you pushed a little too hard. Every relationship where you tried to be the Holy Spirit. Every sleepless night wondering why your love wasn't enough to turn someone around.

But here's what I'm learning: our hands were made for planting, not for forcing growth. We scatter seeds of kindness, truth, and love. We water with our presence and our prayers. But the soil of someone's heart? That sacred ground belongs to God alone.

There's such freedom in remembering your lane. You don't have to be eloquent enough to convince. You don't have to be wise enough to change minds. You don't have to carry the outcome of every seed you plant.

Your faithfulness in the planting matters. Your gentleness matters. Your willingness to trust God with the growing matters more than you know.

You may see failure when words fall flat
He sees seeds taking root in hidden places

You may see rejection when someone walks away
He sees a heart that will remember your kindness years from now

You may see wasted effort
He sees a faithful planter who trusted Him with the harvest

Your job is to plant the seed, not change their heart. Don't get your role and God's role mixed up.

Plant with love.
Trust Him with the growing.
Rest in your beautiful, limited, perfectly-assigned role.
