Today was a unique and special occasion. We extended an invitation to City Council Members to visit our Community and engage with our Residents. We would like to express our gratitude to Council Member Mia Prier and Council Member Donnie Funk for dedicating over an hour to us this morning. Their visit commenced with a session of Lee’s Summit Trivia and History. They apprised us of current infrastructure projects, advancements at our airport, and numerous other exciting developments in our thriving city. They graciously allocated time for questions and discussions on matters of interest and concern. We had a large attendance of Residents and Staff. Sincere appreciation to our Executive Director Haley, Resident Experience Coordinator Heather Maxon, and Regional Sales Coordinator Amber Wimberly for their attendance and assistance in making this event a success. We will be attending our second City Council meeting in July. All are invited to engage in this experience.
