Adam De la O, passed away peacefully on Friday October 9, 2026. He was the loving husband of Bertha nee Franzoni. Beloved father of Erica (Julio Fajardo) De la O and Edward (Isaura Carmona) De la O. Cherished brother of Guadalupe (late Antonio) Flores, German (Anna) De la O, Gilberto De la O, the late David, late Martha, late Rodolfo (Rosario) and the late Audomaro De la O. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem) from 10 AM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 12 Noon.

Born in Mexico, Adam came to Chicago with courage, determination, and the hope of building a better future as a tailor and entrepreneur. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.

Our hearts are broken to announce the sudden passing of Jose De Jesus Mora on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Rosa Lorenia Mora. Loving father of Raquel Emily (David) Zaragoza and Daniel Mora. Proud grandfather of Nicholas and Charlotte. Dear brother of Victor Mora, Graciela (Jose) Sandoval and Angelica (Luis) Bazan. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Telesfora Mora. Fond uncle of Graciela Sandoval, Maria Violeta Sandoval and Alejandra Bazan. Visitation is Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.( 55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Gall Church for a 10 AM Mass. Much loved mother of Emiliano (Jill) Valencia and Marianna Belmares. Proud and devoted grandmother of Matteo Valencia. Dear sister of the late Madelyn Carrasco. Fond aunt of Mary Carrasco, Rachel Carrasco, Denise Carrasco Volk (Jeremy) and Richard Ramirez. Jessica was a remarkable woman who epitomized elegance, grace and kindness throughout her life. Dearest grandmother of Crystal, Leslie, Adrie, Felipe Jr., Emmanuel, Alyssa, Brandon, Enoch, Sofia, Daniella and Eliana. Maria will be deeply missed by her many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Cora Jean Reidl, passed away on October 1, 2026. Loving daughter of the late Walter C. Reidl and Teresa M. Nee Jahn Reidl. Cherished sister of the late Nancy (late Alfred) Prouty and the late Walter J. (Maita) Reidl. Adored aunt of Jo Ann Reidl Pena. Dear great-aunt of Enycia and Jonah Pena.
Cora was a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who devoted more than 40 years of her life to Lutheran General Hospital. Throughout her remarkable career, she became a highly respected mentor, educator, and advocate for both physicians and nurses. Her knowledge, experience, and commitment to excellence extended far beyond the walls of the hospital. She was respected throughout numerous hospitals and across the State of Illinois for her dedication to improving the care and well-being of mothers and babies. Cora was also one of the first perinatal outreach educators in the State of Illinois, helping to advance education and improve the quality of care provided to mothers and newborns throughout the region.
Teaching and educating others was one of Cora’s greatest passions. She earned her Master’s degree in Education and took great pride in sharing her knowledge and helping others grow.
Cora also had a great love for travel and adventure, enjoying opportunities to explore different parts of the world and experience new cultures. After retirement, she continued her lifelong love of learning through reading and following politics. She was incredibly...

Elvira T. Lopez — affectionately known to all as “Bea” — passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, surrounded by love. Born in Chicago, IL, she built a life marked by strength, kindness, and quiet resilience. She was a devoted mother of eight, a steady presence to those who knew her, lived life to the fullest, and someone whose warmth made people feel at ease.
Bea is survived by her children: Elena Lopez, Babe Sanfilippo (husband, Joe), Elizabeth Creek (husband, Dan), Luis Lopez, Baudilio Lopez (partner, Monica), Eugene Lopez, Eleanor Ulanowicz (and Stan), and Eric Lopez. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Duran (husband, David) and Gloria Zubik.
She leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family — all of whom carry her love forward in their own lives.
Her greatest joy was her family, and her legacy lives on in their hearts, in the memories she created, and in the quiet, steadfast love she gave so freely.
A private Celebration Of Life will be held for immediate and extended family. Cremation has taken place and her family will honor her wishes quietly and privately just as she wanted..
