Depression can make everyday life feel harder but you don't have to face it alone. If you or someone you know is struggling with symptoms of depression, support is available without stepping away completely from home, family, work or school responsibilities. Summit Oaks Hospital offers structured outpatient treatment programs for individuals who need more support than traditional weekly therapy:

- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
A higher level of structured daytime treatment and support, offered Monday through Friday and includes lunch.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Flexible, focused treatment provided three days per week.
Both programs are designed to help individuals manage symptoms, build healthy coping skills and work toward greater stability and wellness.

Did you know? Summit Oaks Hospital offers outpatient programs for individuals facing mental health and co-occurring substance use challenges, providing the support needed to help you move forward on your path to wellness.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers an intensive outpatient level-of-care for those who need more support than traditional outpatient services but do not require inpatient hospitalization. Participants attend structured treatment several days a week and return home in the evenings and on weekends. Services include psychiatric care, group therapy and medication management.

For those seeking a more flexible option, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a higher level of support than traditional therapy while allowing participants to maintain many of their daily responsibilities.

Ready, Set, Run for mental health! Summit Oaks Hospital was proud to sponsor and participate in the Berkeley Heights 5K presented by the KAW Foundation. Our team came together to walk, run and raise awareness about the importance of mental health, support and access to care within our community.

At Summit Oaks, support continues long after the finish line. We offer flexible outpatient programs for mental health and co-occurring conditions, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services, designed to help individuals receive the care they need while maintaining their daily responsibilities and connections.
