The Morph Method

The Morph Method The Morph Method offers personalized nutrition coaching to adults desiring body composition changes I look forward to working with you!

-Mikayla

Hi Everyone,

The Morph Method was created to help you become more confident in your food choices and bodies by learning flexible dieting strategies that align with your body composition goals (fat loss, muscle gain, weight maintenance). I work with active individuals with growth mindsets, ideally between the ages of 18-55 (or who consider themselves fairly tech-savvy). I use an online platform to

communicate macronutrient targets, meal planning suggestions, and habit building strategies for sustainable change. I want you to leave my program knowing more about the role specific nutrients play in fat loss, muscle gain, and maintenance. I help you improve your relationship with food by dispelling the idea that there are "good" and "bad" foods. I want you to experience success in reaching your desired body composition with the mindset that it's ok to love your body for all it does for you while also wanting to make changes to the way your body looks and the way you feel in your own skin. Through education, support, and accountability, I help you problem solve tough nutrition scenarios, set achievable goals, and challenge yourself so that you are set up for long-term success in your eating and exercise habits. DM me if you're interested in the program or join our free FB community! https://www.facebook.com/groups/516332529196456

More information including pricing and how my program works can be found on the website listed.

Mikayla is a dietitian. Nicole is a nutrition coach. And yep, we use AI.

Meal ideas? Absolutely.
Recipes? Yep.
Help brainstorming ways to hit a protein target? Sure.
Figuring out what the heck to make with the six random things left in the fridge? 😂 Also yes.

AI is an incredible tool for information and ideas.

But most of the people we work with aren't struggling because nobody ever told them protein is important or that eating more vegetables might be a good idea.

It's the application that's hard.

What do we change when you're doing everything “right” and progress stalls?

Why are you starving every night?

Why does the plan work beautifully Monday–Thursday and completely fall apart on the weekend?

Should we actually lower your calories, or is something else going on?

Sometimes you don't need more information.

As coaches, we get to know you. We see the patterns, asks better questions, and help you figure out what actually makes sense next.

We use AI too. It’s an incredible tool.

But a tool isn’t a coach.

So if you're curious what working with an actual coach could look like, keep an eye out for something we’ve got coming next week. 👀

We use AI too. It’s an incredible tool! But a tool isn’t a coach 😬

Yes, AI may be able to give you a plan, but your Morph Method coaches help you actually live it 🙌

Somewhere along the way, these stopped feeling like “nutrition habits” and just became things I do. 😂

Some are useful, some are weird, and some probably started as intentional choices and became automatic over time.

And that’s kind of the point: what you practice consistently eventually requires a whole lot less thought!

Just got back from vacation and, as usual, there was plenty of good food, lots of sunshine, some movement, and a whole lot of relaxing. ☀️🌴

Here’s what I did and didn’t do when it came to food and feeling good:

Things I did:
• Got some movement in before a really heavy meal, like those banana macadamia nut pancakes 🥞
• Started my mornings with my usual water + electrolytes
• Aimed for protein at each meal
• Grabbed quick + easy foods like sandwich fixings for beach days and sunsets
• Took advantage of being able to get LOTS of sleep 😴
• Enjoyed the local foods I only get once every year or two, like fish tacos, Maui Pie, fresh fish + sides, fun iced coffees, and more

Things I didn’t do:
• Weigh myself
• Weigh or measure my food
• Restrict myself
• Put pressure on myself to get my “best” workouts or runs in
• Put pressure on myself to make up for anything I ate

Something was better than nothing when it came to movement, and enjoying foods I don’t get at home was part of the vacation.

For me, feeling good on vacation isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about keeping a few habits that make me feel good while also letting myself actually enjoy the vacation.

And when I got home, I just went back to my normal routine. No reset required!

What’s something you like to keep doing on vacation because it makes you feel good?!

✨Member Spotlight✨

Chris has gone from 232 lbs to 193 lbs, but what stands out to us most is how he's done it!

This is someone with a legitimately busy schedule. He runs his own chiropractic practice and works with the Seahawks, which means his schedule changes, long days happen, and sometimes the ideal nutrition plan simply isn't an option.

So he's adapted! And he has been exceptionally coachable about doing exactly that.

He hasn't stopped lifting to chase a number on the scale. He's actually expanded what his body can do, recently adding running and completing a half marathon a few weeks ago. And apparently that only made him want to run more. 😂

He's also proof that successful fat loss doesn't require cutting out everything that's "fun". Chris intentionally works a mini candy bar into his day because he enjoys it. No guilt and no "cheat food" mentality. That's what we love about this progress!

Yes, 39 pounds and 15+ inches is absolutely worth celebrating, but learning how to keep pursuing your goals when work gets crazy, schedules change, you still want to enjoy your favorite foods, and life keeps happening? That’s the bigger win!!!

Congrats, Gibson!

These are the foods that almost always make my grocery list. Not because I think everyone should buy them, but because I actually enjoy them!

I like keeping foods on hand that can be mixed and matched into lots of different meals and snacks, which makes eating feel easier and helps me waste less food. It also makes putting together my grocery list a bit easier!
