Celebrate Recovery of Sumter SC A faith based 12 step program to help with issues like drugs, alcohol, relationships, smoking, anger We meet every Friday night.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 Step faith based program for help with addictions such as drugs, alcohol, relationship issues, smoking, anger, codependency, food addictions, sexual addictions, esteem issues, and more. This is a safe environment and all information shared in meetings is confidential. Dinner is from 6pm to 7pm ($5 food donation is requested); a large group meeting is held from 7pm to 8pm; and then we break into small discussion groups pertaining to individual issues.

Susan is giving her testimony this Friday at Celebrate Recovery. Come out and show her some support. Meal at 6 pm and meeting at 6:45 pm at Salt and Light Church. See you all there.

We did what we call, "popcorn teatimonies" last night at Celebrate Recovery. These are condensed testimonies for whomever wants to get up and share. And these meetings have always been my favorites.
I always walk away renewed after hearing the stories of people that don't normally share. The hope of recovery.
And the first person that shared blew me away.
A newcomer got up and poured their heart out with their struggles and that search for the promise of recovery. Beautiful.
And told me again how all of us have "junk" and how we have no idea what that person sitting next to us might be going through.
