The problems with therapy are 2.
1- a crappy therapist who is not professional, and doesn't make the effort to really connect with the patient.(I see this too often from my clients)
2- the fear and pain, at some point, when we start navigating and going "back" to the root of the issues that affect, today's patient life, the ego takes control and says "yeah, we are not going there, I am gonna keep you safe in our comfort zone, this is not for us, this won't work".
And just like that, the person gives up. No result, no good experience, this caused them to withdraw more and surrender to the controlling mindset that there is no help out there or is a waste of time.
👉My advice, please learn what the therapy you are walking into is all about, before you start.
👉Know IT IS gonna HURT!! just like it hurts when you break a bone, or you catch a flu, and you are recovering.
👉Your mind will tell you to STOP!, is a fact! Keep pushing through! Believe me, the result is worth it
