At Avista Memory Care, our mission is personal—and for our Marketing Director, Kendra, it has become deeply personal.
Just over a month ago, Kendra and her family made the decision to move her beloved grandfather, Larry (better known as Pop Pop), into our community. While Kendra spends her days helping other families navigate this journey, this time she found herself sitting on the other side of the table as a granddaughter.
Entrusting the care of someone you love is never easy. Yet Kendra and her family have found peace, comfort, and gratitude knowing Larry is surrounded by a team that genuinely loves and cares for him.
There is something incredibly special about watching the roles reverse. The man who once cared for Kendra, guided her, and helped shape the person she is today is now receiving the same compassion, support, and care in return.
We are honored to have Larry as part of the Avista family and grateful for the trust placed in us each day. If you see Larry around the community, be sure to stop and say hello! He has already brought so much joy to our halls, and we are lucky to call him one of our own.
