What about vaccines? All of the clinicians at Weaver Family Medicine generally recommend clinically indicated vaccines for adults and children according to evidence based recommendations.

Are there exceptions? Of course. No patient is the same and there are always exceptions to those recommendations.

Will you sign medical exemptions for state mandated vaccines? Yes, but only if there is a verifiable medical condition that would preclude certain vaccines. We will not sign medical exemptions for philosophical or religious beliefs, but we sure respect them.

All of the clinicians at Weaver Family Medicine respect your informed decision as adults, and parents to adhere to our recommendations or not. We do not enforce any clinic mandate, or policy that applies to all patients, because we know that ultimately your health is your responsibility, and our responsibility is to provide sound clinical guidance.

Brianne comes to WFM with nearly ten years of experience treating families in the lower Yakima valley. I'd like to introduce Corryn Koopmans, ARNP. I've known and worked with Corryn for several years and I am proud to call her my colleague. Corryn has been working at Weaver Family Medicine now for nearly 9 months. She has extensive experience as a registered nurse and worked for Kadlec Regional Medical Center and then at Prosser Memorial Health. She completed her master in Nursing from Gonzaga in 2022.
