Mineral County Local Advisory Council – Mail Exchange Group
The Mineral County Local Advisory Council is excited to offer a Mail Exchange Group for community members who would enjoy sending and receiving heartfelt correspondence.
📅 Start Date: Tuesday, May 12
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Back room of Riverside Soup and Sandwich Shop
Join us for a warm and creative gathering where we’ll decorate cards and write messages to spread joy throughout our community. Coffee will be provided.
Bring your creativity and enthusiasm—and feel free to include small thoughtful touches in your cards!
If you know someone who would appreciate receiving mail, please bring their name and address so we can include them.
We look forward to sharing kindness, one card at a time!

FYI

This is the income level to qualify for assistance at the Community Food Bank of Mineral County.
We no longer need to have you bring in your proof, what we do require is proof of residency, a form of ID,( like a drivers license ) a contact phone number, names, ages and income of all people in your household.
And if you want someone else to pick up your food for you in the future, you can sign a form for them to do so.
We are open Every other Friday until our new building opens.
We are distributing out of the Masonic Temple in Superior.
