Registration is open for the EYG Thanksgiving Scoring Camp | 6th–8th Grade.

Three days of high-rep training built to help players become more confident and effective scorers at game speed.

Players will work on:

• Handling pressure and attacking defenders
• Creating separation
• Finishing through contact
• Shooting off the catch and dribble
• Attacking closeouts
• Reading defensive reactions
• 1-on-1 decision-making
• Competing and making quicker reads

Each day builds on the previous one:

DAY 1 — HANDLE + ATTACK
Create an advantage and beat your defender.

DAY 2 — SHOOT + FINISH
Turn advantages into quality scoring opportunities.

DAY 3 — READ + SCORE
Read the defense, make the right decision, and compete.

This is not three days of standing in lines doing random drills.

Players will get lots of touches, lots of shots, and lots of game-speed repetitions.

Every player will also complete the EYG Thanksgiving 100 Shooting Challenge and leave camp with an EYG Player Scorecard.

Making shots in a drill is one thing.

Creating that shot in a game is another.

Once the game starts, everything changes.

There’s a defender.

Less space.
Less time.
A decision to make.

That’s why scoring development can’t stop with learning moves or getting shots up.

Players eventually have to:
Create an advantage.
Read the defender.
Make the decision.
Finish the play.

That progression is a big part of how we train at EYG.

During our High School Thanksgiving Scoring Lab, players will get high-rep scoring work and then apply those skills in game-speed reads and competitive 1-on-1 situations.
