So, what exactly is lipedema?

Lipedema is a chronic condition where fat builds up abnormally, most often in the legs, hips, and arms. It's not caused by diet or lifestyle, and it disproportionately affects women.

Common signs include:
➡️ Disproportionate swelling in the lower body
➡️ Pain or tenderness to the touch
➡️ Easy bruising
➡️ Swelling that doesn't improve with diet or exercise
