Meet Dr. Uri Gedalia, our Chief Medical Officer🏅

Dr. Gedalia didn’t come from a typical urgent care background. He spent decades as a board-certified general surgeon with a specialty in colorectal surgery, contributing published research to journals like Spine and The American Surgeon, and his work has been recognized at the highest levels, including an Israeli Presidential Award in 2004.

He’s been with TrufaMED since its earliest days as a concierge medicine practice in 2020, and under his leadership it earned Joint Commission accreditation, one of only eight urgent cares in the country to hold it.

Today he oversees everything from walk-in urgent care and concierge medicine to IV therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
