Yesterday we had the opportunity to be part of Moms & Mimosas Surprise ☀️🤍

Mother’s Day conversations often focus on celebrating moms — but supporting moms matters too.

One thing events like this always remind me of is how difficult it can feel to openly talk about mental health in motherhood.

Many moms can easily talk about exhaustion, overwhelm, stress, anxiety, overstimulation, or feeling like they’re carrying too much. But when those conversations move toward mental health support, vulnerability, or asking for help, people often become quieter.

That doesn’t discourage us.
It reminds us why these conversations matter.

At SageWise Wellness, we believe maternal mental health conversations should feel safe, normal, and supported — not hidden or shameful.

Sometimes the most important conversations start a little awkwardly.
We’re still willing to have them.

Grateful for everyone who stopped by yesterday, and grateful to continue building more awareness and support for moms and families in our community ✨

Spent the morning at a local Mother’s Day event put on by connecting with moms and families in our community 💛

One of my favorite parts of this work is helping normalize conversations around maternal mental health — because so many women are carrying overwhelm, anxiety, rage, intrusive thoughts, burnout, or isolation silently.

Support doesn’t have to wait for a crisis.

Grateful for opportunities to bring these conversations into community spaces where moms already are… and grateful for my tiny booth assistant today, too 🥹

Motherhood can bring so much love- and also so much pressure.

I was honored to speak at recently about mom rage: what it really is, why it happens, and why it does not mean you’re a bad mom.

Often rage is the surface emotion. Underneath it can be overstimulation, unmet needs, mental load, lack of support, anxiety, sleep deprivation, grief, or feeling like you have to hold everything together alone.

If this is part of your story, you are not the only one- and you don’t have to stay stuck there.

Thanks you to the moms who showed up vulnerably and honestly for this conversation 🤍

If you’re in Arizona and looking for motherhood mental health support, we’d love to help.

Beyond grateful for the team at for making space for these conversations that don’t always fit neatly into a medical visit.

I had the opportunity to spend time with them today, talking about maternal mental health – what it can look like, and how it often goes unseen.

So many moms are carrying more than anyone realizes.

And when providers create space for that, it makes it so much easier to speak up.

Collaboration like this really matters 💛

If you’re a mom in the pregnancy or postpartum season, you deserve a whole team supporting you. 🤍

Today at the West Valley Birth Expo, I had the chance to connect with so many incredible providers who are serving families in our community — doulas, chiropractors, birth workers, and more. It’s always encouraging to see how many people care deeply about supporting moms and babies.

Swipe to see some of the amazing people I had the chance to spend the day with today.

And if you’re a mom who’s feeling overwhelmed, struggling emotionally, or just needing a space that’s yours in the middle of motherhood — therapy can be part of your support team too. 🌿

One of the most meaningful parts of my work is getting to walk alongside moms during seasons that can feel overwhelming, isolating, and identity-shifting.

And one of the best outcomes of therapy is when a client reaches the point where she doesn’t need to come as often.

🤍That means she’s stronger.
🤍More confident.
🤍More grounded in herself.

Those moments are always something to celebrate.

Today I had the privilege of speaking with about recognizing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders in prenatal and postpartum care.

OB providers are often the first to notice when something isn’t right — and early identification changes outcomes.

We talked about:
✨ How PMADs actually present in clinic
✨ The difference between intrusive thoughts and psychosis
✨ When screening scores warrant referral
✨ What to say to patients that reduces shame

I’m so grateful for providers who care deeply about supporting both the physical and emotional health of their patients 💛

If your practice is interested in a similar training, I’d love to connect!

Hey friends 👋🏻

I realized it’s been a while since I properly reintroduced myself—so much has changed! Babies have been born, kids have grown, and life keeps moving (fast).

Some days motherhood feels like a marathon you didn’t sign up for. Some days it’s magical. Most days? Both at the same time.

I’m living it too—right alongside you. Between homeschooling five kids, managing the chaos, and keeping my coffee hot (sometimes successfully), I know how heavy life can feel.

SageWise Wellness exists for moms in all seasons—those days of overwhelm, transition, or just wondering if they’re doing it “right.” You don’t have to do it alone.

If you’re ready for support that’s real, kind, and practical, you can book a session or consultation through the link in my bio.
