This Nurses Week, we simply want to honor the incredible postpartum care nurses who walk alongside our families with so much compassion, gentleness, and heart. 🤍

These nurses are more than clinical support. They are calming voices during overwhelming moments, reassurance, extra hands when families feel stretched thin, and a continued presence during one of the most vulnerable transitions in life.

We have watched our nurses sit on living room floors beside new parents, celebrate breastfeeding wins, answer tearful questions without judgment, and help families feel seen long after birth day has passed.

What makes this role especially meaningful to us is that each of our postpartum care nurses has personally experienced home birth within our practice. Their care is rooted not only in knowledge, but also in lived understanding, empathy, and connection.

The continuity, warmth, and humanity they bring into the homes of our families cannot be taught in a textbook.

To our nurses — thank you for the way you show up. Quietly, consistently, and wholeheartedly.

Feeling so blessed on International Day of the Midwife to connect and talk with some beautiful families about starting midwifery care. Our care is unique and ever evolving. Huge shout out to all the midwives around the world 🌎 doing this work day in and day out.

It comes with so much heart and we do it unapologetically. Keep changing the face of birth and never give up, the families are 1000% worth it!!!
