We are deeply grateful for their kind words and are committed to ensuring every patient receives this level of compassionate and professional care.

We recently received a heartfelt note from a patient’s family recognizing Holly and Keiara for the compassion, urgency, and support they showed during an incredibly stressful time.

After months of dealing with a serious injury and facing the possibility of a long delay in surgery, the family felt like they had run out of options. Holly called to schedule what seemed like a routine appointment. Instead, she listened to their story, understood how urgent the situation was, and stepped in to help. She connected the family with Keiara, who helped move things forward quickly so the patient could receive the pre-op clearance he needed.

The family shared that they were deeply grateful for the care they received and wanted others to know just how much Holly and Keiara’s kindness meant to them.

Stories like this are a powerful reminder that listening, caring, and taking action can make a lasting difference. Thank you, Holly and Keiara, for going above and beyond for our patients and their families.

September is National Sepsis Awareness Month.

Sepsis is the body’s extreme, life-threatening response to an infection, and it is a true medical emergency that claims more lives annually than some cancers.

Sepsis moves fast. Recognizing the symptoms shown in this graphic is the most important step in getting life-saving treatment. If you or a loved one are showing these warning signs, DO NOT wait. Seek immediate care.

Ready to lead at a higher level, without leaving clinical care behind?

This is a Chief Medical Officer opportunity for a physician who wants to lead while continuing clinical care.

You’ll join CHI Mercy Health in Oregon, a member of CommonSpirit Health, and support Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg and CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, bringing leadership to two trusted community hospitals with more than 100 years of service each and a shared commitment to high-quality, whole-person care.

We’re looking for a physician leader who can bring people together, build trust across medical staff and administration, and create momentum around quality, safety, and operational excellence. This is a rare opening for a visionary physician leader who wants to influence strategy, strengthen physician engagement, and help shape the future of care, while still staying connected to patients.

Together, these hospitals extend care across Douglas County, Umatilla County, and surrounding communities, making this an opportunity to create meaningful impact at both the organizational and community level.

If that sounds like your next chapter, let’s connect!
