Haven’t been able to find an opening? I’m making room. 💙

One of the things I talk about with my clients all the time is caring for ourselves while we care for everyone else.
As a mom, a solo provider, and someone who spends her days filling other people’s cups, I’m constantly adjusting to find that balance myself.
You may have noticed it’s been difficult to find an opening lately. Thank you for your loving patience as I make some thoughtful changes to my schedule and open more availability over the next few weeks.
My existing clients will continue to receive priority scheduling, particularly those receiving post-surgical care or support for lymphedema/lipedema, autoimmune conditions, injury recovery, and other care where consistency is prioritized.
As some clients transition into less-frequent maintenance care, I’ll be able to welcome a small number of new clients, too.
Current clients can always reach me directly by DM or text to my direct cell for scheduling.
And a sweet hint of what I’m working on: expanded mobile care and a new, elevated in-home experience that I’m very excited to share.
Love is patient. Love is kind. And sometimes, love looks like making room. 💙

There’s something about finally being able to soften when you’ve spent so much of your life holding everything together.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know that listening to your body helps define the treatment needed throughout your care journey.

Myofascial release has been part of the services I offer for years, but it’s not all the same. After completing MFR 1, I continued my John F. Barnes training with Fascial-Pelvis, expanding the ways I can assess and work with restrictions through the low back, abdomen, pelvis, hips and surrounding connective tissue.

For many of the women I care for, these are areas where the body has carried a lot—pregnancy, birth, surgery, changing hormones, changes in movement, or simply life.

This work may become part of your treatment when you’re experiencing things like:

• A C-section or other surgical scar that still feels tight or restricted
• Low-back or hip pain, tightness or weakness
• Abdominal tightness or pulling
• Discomfort or restriction with movement
• Tightness that keeps returning, even after massage
• An area of your body that just feels stuck

Myofascial release feels different from traditional massage. These techniques work with your body’s own ability to respond and recalibrate, creating space for tissues that have been restricted to move more freely and function with less tension.

My clients know I keep adding to my treatment toolbox at The Gentle Peach.💙 What we use depends specifically on what your body needs that day.

The goal is to understand where you are in your care journey and treat accordingly.
Because where you hurt isn’t always where the restriction begins.

And my beautiful model was an excellent sport. My photographer is also a fellow massage therapist and longtime MFR practitioner, so there may have been a little more professional assessment happening during this photoshoot than originally planned.

My clients know I'm a nerd, and they appreciate my curiosity. So this one's for you! ❤️

This weekend I completed John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release I, and as I immersed myself in this course, I found myself thinking deeply about the needs of my family, my clients, and even my own personal needs.

It reminded me that sometimes the answers we're looking for aren't meant to be found by looking around us—they're meant to be found deeper within us.

Every course expands the way I see the body and gives me another tool to support healing with intention. That's one of the greatest gifts of this profession: there's always more to learn, and every lesson helps me care for the people who trust me a little better.

Learning is always better alongside passionate clinicians. Thank you to Zari from Not Your Average Therapy for a wonderful weekend of learning and collaboration, and thank you to Connie at Revive Therapies for partnering in my client's continued advanced CLT care. 🥰

I'm excited to bring what I've learned back into the treatment room, and I can't wait to see you!

As we move into the last days of the school year, I think many of us are craving the same thing in different ways:

a little more space
a little less rushing
more connection
more rest
more time to simply breathe again

Summer has a way of reminding us that life is not meant to feel like constant output.

For some, reprieve looks like travel and adventure.
For others, it looks like slower mornings, time outdoors, reconnecting with family, healing, stepping away from the noise, or finally listening to what their body has been asking for all year.

And honestly… not everyone needs the same kind of exhale.

I talk often about nervous system regulation in the treatment room, but sometimes regulation looks less like “doing more” and more like allowing yourself to pause long enough to feel grounded again.

To slow down.
To reconnect.
To notice beauty again.
To laugh with your kids.
To rest without guilt.
To remember that your body was never designed to stay in survival mode forever.

As schedules shift for summer, availability at The Gentle Peach will shift a bit too — intentionally making room for family, flexibility, restoration, and the changing rhythms this season brings for all of us.

Whatever reprieve looks like for you, I hope you find it this season. 🤍

And in the meantime, I thought I’d share a few quiet moments that helped me remember to pause too.

Almost every day, I have the opportunity to witness the strength of women in seasons most people never fully see.

The mothers carrying the invisible load.
The ones advocating.
Researching.
Planning.
Holding everything together while quietly wondering if they can keep going.

The moms navigating uncertainty, appointments, school meetings, grief, healing, exhaustion, hope, and the constant desire to do right by the people they love most.

And still…
they show up.

Some conversations in my treatment room are about recovery.
Some are about fear.
Some are about dreams for the future.
Some are simply about needing one moment where someone else says:
“I see you.”

Motherhood is powerful in ways that rarely fit into a picture-perfect post.

To the mothers carrying more than most people realize:
You are not failing.
You are not weak.
And you deserve care too.

There are moments when community matters in the most meaningful way.

One of our own — a wonderful client, friend, and tutor who has supported our family so generously — is participating in Relay For Life.

If you are a cancer survivor, you are invited to sign up at no cost. There is absolutely no need to donate in order to participate. Survivors who sign up receive a survivor shirt and are honored as part of what I have heard is a very inspiring and meaningful evening.

For those who have walked this path, for those still walking it, and for the people who love them, events like this are such a powerful reminder that no one should carry it alone.
