No one should have to choose between their financial well-being and their health.

Thanks to a grant from the Maine Cancer Foundation, MDI Health has launched the Free Screening Mammogram Scholarship Program to provide free screening mammograms for eligible patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial barriers to care.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Maine, and early detection remains one of the most powerful tools for saving lives. By removing cost as a barrier, we're helping more women access the preventive care they deserve.

If you think you may qualify or have questions about the program, contact your primary care provider's office to learn more or get a referral.

Together with the Maine Cancer Foundation, we're expanding access, promoting early detection, and building a healthier Downeast Maine.
