Y'all know I havent been posting. Raquelmartinphd has been gathering in these streets so there wasnt need for me to say much at all and she added to thisnpiece too. When Dominique Morgan asked me to share I was honored and wanted to share a truth alongside Andrew Aleman Consulting. The influencers - especially around and pertaining to s*xuality - can do so much harm when they are untrained and uninformed. S*xuality, specifically, is more than just what people do with ge****ls and not just a topic for clicks and likes.

Ask any trained s*xuality professional what we have heard, had to educate about, or even overcome to even be a support to others and it's horrifying. Doctors, clergy, other clinicians and more are telling people (especially women) that s*x is supposed to hurt, to 'just' get over it and do it, that grape can't happen in marriage, that they aren't valuable after so much s*x, and every other falsehood under the sun. (Please dont share trauma stories below- we know they exist AND I believe you).

Gender affirming Care for youth is life saving care. Children and families with support from medical and mental health professionals are working together to ensure they are at their healthiest.

Loss of access to affirming care like puberty blockers, mental health services, and compassionate health providers will have an adverse effect on trans youth if we as a community do not support them.

Trans youth. We see you, you matter, and are absolutely right in whoever you are right now.

The federal government has just attempted to enact a national trans youth care ban.

A new HHS rule would shutter most gender-affirming care for trans youth nationwide.

It violates multiple laws and the constitution, and will likely go into effect in a few months.
