Today, we celebrate Mary Smith and her 18 years of service to the RPMH Family!

Throughout her time at RPMH, Mary has served in multiple departments, bringing her knowledge, adaptability, and dedication wherever she was needed. Few people can say they have worn as many hats as Mary over the years.

Many of us remember her as the "COVID Queen," a title she earned while helping lead our organization through one of the most challenging periods in healthcare history. Today, she continues to serve as Director of Infection Control and Employee Health, working diligently to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community.

Mary's commitment to excellence and willingness to step up when needed have made her an invaluable part of the RPMH Family for nearly two decades.

Thank you, Mary, for 18 years of dedication, leadership, and service. Congratulations on this incredible milestone!

For 14 years, Neal Bhakta has been an important part of the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital family, serving patients through the Radiology Department.

Working the midshift means Neal is often on the move, making frequent trips to the Emergency Room to provide imaging services when patients need them most. Whether it's a routine exam or an urgent situation, Neal approaches every patient with kindness. His ability to help people feel comfortable during stressful moments is one of the many reasons he is so appreciated by both patients and coworkers.

While patients know Neal for his caring nature, his coworkers know there's another side to him as well. Neal has a mischievous sense of humor that keeps those around him smiling and helps bring a little laughter to even the busiest days. His positive attitude and friendly personality make him a valued member of the RPMH team.

At nearly 10 feet tall...or at least close enough, Neal is hard to miss. More importantly, his dedication to patient care and his commitment to his coworkers make him stand tall in all the ways that matter most.

Thank you, Neal, for 14 years of outstanding service, compassion, and good humor. We are grateful to have you as part of the RPMH family.

Today, we celebrate Teri Wilson and her 11 years of service to the RPMH Family!

Teri serves as one of our Social Workers and is someone who truly leads with heart in everything, she does. While her official tenure at RPMH is 11 years, her time with the organization spans even more, and her impact reaches far beyond a title or timeline.

There are few people who care for others the way Teri does. Whether she is helping a patient through a difficult moment, supporting a coworker, or simply encountering someone in the hallway, she has a natural gift for making people feel seen, valued, and cared for.
