When I graduated from my Hypnotherapy school, the advice my instructor gave us was to say yes to everything and pay attention to what resonates the most. Well now I finally understood what he meant because I’ve found my niche. Hyacinth Healing will now be called The Enlightened Actuary. And here is why…
I’ve been an actuary for about 7 years now and I had to endure a brutally grueling exam process in order to obtain my credentials. I know what hard work looks like and I also know what burnout feels like. For a while now I have been trying to walk in both worlds…being an actuary and hypnotherapist…and often times it feels like a switch I have to force on and off. But then it hit me…why not just lean in to both? I am in a unique position where I can relate to those of you who are high achievers, highly intellectual and overly analytical. I know what these traits look and feel like and I know they can be both a superpower and a kryptonite. I can deeply relate to the feeling of treading water to succeed yet I am also equipped with the tools to help you rise above the noise and hone your true power within! Through mindfulness, visualization, relaxation, and storytelling, I can help you overcome the stress and anxiety that often accompanies being Type A so that you can keep climbing without losing yourself on the way up. Hence the new name…The Enlightened Actuary.
