I wanted to personally invite you to our Open House at Coosa Valley Resources for Women this Saturday, May 30th!
🕙 Date: Saturday, May 30th
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Come and go anytime!)
We’ll have delicious finger foods, a warm welcome, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can tour our ministry, meet the team, and see the impactful work we’re doing to support and uplift women right here in our county.
We’re also prayerfully trusting God to meet our $2,000 donation goal during this event. If He leads you to give, every gift helps us continue serving local women with resources, hope, and encouragement. But please know — your presence alone would be a huge blessing!
This is a “come as you are” event, so stop by whenever it fits your schedule. I would love to see you there!

Good evening Facebook friends, please come out on May 2nd to the 50th annual Sunshine Saturday! bring your appetites, lawn chairs, and a little bit of money, we have all kinds of vendors, delicious food, and great music planned for an all-day celebration of 50 years bringing sunshine to the heart of Talladega . All proceeds go to support the Arc of North Talladega’s mission serving adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Talladega Lincoln Munford winterboro area
This is an event you can’t afford to miss!! Come one come all To Sunshine Saturday !!

This Christmas season, we’re reminded of the incredible love and hope that came into the world through Jesus. His birth was the ultimate gift, bringing peace to our hearts and light to our darkest days.

At Resources For Women, we’re honored to walk alongside women and families, offering support, encouragement, and love rooted in His example. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we’re also reminded of the strength and resilience of the families we serve every day.

Season’s Greetings from Resources For Women! 🎄❤️

As we celebrate the joy and hope of the Christmas season, we want to take a moment to thank you for being part of our community. This year has been filled with challenges, growth, and triumphs, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you.

To allow our team time to rest, reflect, and enjoy the holiday with their loved ones, we will be closed from Sunday, December 22nd through Sunday, January 5th. We will resume our regular hours on Monday, January 6th.

May your holidays be filled with peace, love, and renewal, and may 2025 bring new opportunities and blessings for you and your family. We look forward to continuing to support you in the year ahead.

At Resources for Women, we want to take a moment to honor the mothers, fathers, and families who have faced the unimaginable heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss. To those who’ve held hope in their hearts, only to have it shattered—we see you, and our hearts grieve with you.

For anyone who has experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion grief, or the loss of an infant, please know that your grief is valid, and your love for your child is eternal. These tiny souls may have only been with us for a short time, but their impact is profound, and their memory is carried forever. 🦋

If today, or any day, feels heavy with loss, we are here for you. Whether it’s a listening ear, a gentle hand to hold, or simply a safe space to talk—we’re here. You are not alone in your journey. 💕
