Think your ankle is either broken or not broken? Think again. 👇

One of the biggest myths in orthopedics:

❌ No fracture = no serious injury

The truth is that some ankle fractures are minor and heal in a boot.

Others need surgery.

And some of the worst ankle injuries don’t show a fracture on the first X-ray at all.

A severe sprain can involve:
⚠️ Torn ligaments
⚠️ Tendon injuries
⚠️ Cartilage damage
⚠️ Hidden fractures

That’s why two people with the same ankle pain can need completely different treatment.

🚩 Get evaluated if:
• You can’t put weight on your foot
