Very special visitors stopped by St. Camillus! 💙🎓🎓🎓
Graduates from Bishop Ludden-Grimes Junior/Senior High School spent time with our residents sharing wisdom “Senior to Senior”—proving that great advice has no age limit. From life lessons to laughter, family, careers and so much more... wisdom was shared across generations. ✨ Here's some of the advice shared by our "Seniors" at St. Camillus:
- "Don't give up on yourself, and DON'T look back"
- "Opportunity will come to you - do not push it aside"
- " You can DO it, keep plugging away"
- "Have confidence in God. He won't quit you."
- "Be open to learning new things, in new ways"
- "Remember family is the MOST important thing in the world. Listen to them, they'll teach you how to grow."

Pretty Solid advice, we'd say.

Scrubs, swag, and so much support! 🩷🩷🩷 Thank you to Sarah from Sarah's Scrubs for donating a generous gift card—and for always cheering on our team not just during Skilled Nursing Week, but all year round! And, we are thrilled that Kathy, LPN, Asst. Nurse Manager, C-Unit - was the winner! She's been a valued member of our nursing team for more than 38 years. (Yes, you read that right! THIRTY-EIGHT years 😍) Can't wait to see what she treats herself to with the gift card!

We turned wellness into something fun and engaging with a Champion Bingo Game—encouraging residents to explore healthy habits, prevention, and personal wellness goals in a way that builds excitement and community. 💙 Because healthy aging should be empowering & FUN!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙 At St. Camillus, we are especially humbled to care for residents who have worn the uniform with pride. Today, we recognize the stories, strength, and service of our veterans—including a dedicated Navy nurse who cared for others in times of need and a groundbreaking female Army veteran who served in the 1960's with courage and honor - who also happened to be a mom. Their legacy—and the legacy of so many who gave everything—lives on in the lives they touched and the freedoms we hold dear.
Today and always, we remember. 🇺🇸

Senior citizens, their families, and caregivers are encouraged to attend this free and informative event.
