Rooftop Yoga ✨🤎

We had a timeeee last night. Between the moving, singing, dancing, laughing, and catching that sunset, it was one of those nights that just felt good.

I love looking around and seeing such a mix of people and yall connecting. We had folks trying yoga for the very first time, some men joining us on the mat, people who just moved to Syracuse and were grateful to meet new people, and familiar faces coming back for another rooftop flow.

I always remind ya’ll that yoga is your journey, “focus on your mat”. Some people hit a Child’s Pose (as you should 😌), and I had some of yall out there hitting those balancing poses and Wild Thing and surprising yourselves . Because yes you can! Yoga isn’t always about doing what feels easy, sometimes it’s about getting curious, trying something new, and discovering what you’re capable of. That’s the beauty of it. Everybody gets exactly what they need.🤸🏽‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who came out, especially on such a busy night downtown. If you missed this one, no worries. We’ll be right back up there next week, same time, same rooftop, same vibes. ☀️🧘🏽‍♀️✨

See you tomorrow! ☀️ It will be be in the 70s as the sun sets

Bring a friend or meet someone new, and let the sun hit your skin.

Sunshine, getting outside, moving your body, music, and connection does some much for our mental health . It helps us reset, break up the routine, and get back to feeling like ourselves again.

A Winning Pitch Grand Prize Winner ✨

A little reminder to keep betting on yourself 🤎

We been doing this thing for a minute y’all haven’t we? Can you believe that it hasn’t been until recently that I’ve intentionally been building the systems and foundation for sustainability and expansion.

And I trust the timing.

What we often see is the outcome, not the journey of learning, rebuilding, failing, and becoming in real time. (Well… maybe mine, because I share too much with y’all. All in my business, damn 😂)

This competition reminded me that sometimes the biggest act of faith is continuing to prepare for something before you know the outcome.

So I kept practicing.I kept learning.I kept speaking life over my goals.I kept showing up.

And in the process, I realized it wasn’t just about winning, it was about becoming the woman who could stand in the room and share her impact and vision with confidence.
Do YOU know how dope you are?
Do YOU know the impact you make?
Do YOU know where you’re going?
Do YOU trust the vision?
Have YOU done the work?
Are YOU ready?
Because sometimes the people have been seeing it and are just waiting on you at the door baby.

Grateful for the journey, the growth, all of the dope entrepreneurs who showed up and talked their truth. To the judges , to KIRA!! We appreciate you so much.

It’s up! Let’s get to work!

The younger generation is curious, brilliant, and they’re getting outside too, y’all! They amaze me every time 🥹

Had such a beautiful morning with and .walker co-facilitating a hike + yoga + mindfulness session.

After a mindfulness hike led by Walt, I was grateful to spend time with them talking, laughing, journaling, and moving together.

We took time to check in with our bodies before and after movement and noticed how being in community, being outside in nature, and moving our bodies shifted how they said they felt:

“Lighter”
“Relaxed”
“Energized”
“Relief”
“Centered”

We went through journal prompts and talked about the hardest parts of the hike, how we moved through them, and how that connects to life and how we respond when challenges come up. We talked about how movement helps us with lifting our mood + expressing instead of suppressing.

We all had different experiences, but still ended up at the same destination, each on our own mats. A simple but powerful reminder. Idk about yall it my journey from 18-21 did not look like it does now and that’s thanks to so many pivots and lesson.

Stay focused on YOUR mat.
Keep going down your path ✨

An honor to be in it with them.

Happy February
Happy Black History Month 🤎

Am I gaslighting y’all if I say it’s almost Spring? We’re almost there ✨☀️

Thank you to everyone who came out to “The Celebration Flow” on 2/2. The energy, the joy, the movement, all of it meant so much.

The rest of February is light and intentional.

✨R&B Restorative Mondays at 6pm in studio to start the week slow with movement, music, and rest.

✨ Sunset & Candlelight Yoga at The Society for a mid week , mid month pause with candlelight, connection, and a refreshing juice to close it out.

This month still isn’t about doing more. Stay consistent.
It’s about choosing ease, presence, and care.

Come as you are 🤍 Link in bio

How are we doing? Reminder that Winter is a natural pause.

Before the rush of spring, this is a moment to reflect, soften, and release what no longer needs to come with you.

Join us for Thrive in Healing x Pausa Coffee: a Release Ceremony — a collaborative, grounding experience rooted in intention, gathering , and care.

Lisa of Thrive in Healing will guide a gentle yoga and meditation practice, leading into a symbolic release ritual. Together, we’ll write down what we’re letting go of as we prepare to step into 2026. Laura and Lisa will co-facilitate portions of the ceremony, holding space with warmth and intention.

This is a chance to clear space before what’s next.

This morning’s wellness session at Lincoln with the girls ✨🤎

We talked about the different ways we take care of ourselves and how one area of wellness always impacts another.

Getting our hair done and how that can boost our mental health.
Talking with friends and learning who’s actually healthy for us.
Having a support syatem and what that means, quality over quantity.
Eating the best we can while still enjoying what we love.
Loving on our bodies through the gym, dance, and sports.
Listening to music and being mindful of how what we take in affects us.

We also talked about learning how to pause before we react or send that text, because sometimes the thing we’re tripping over isn’t even worth our time or energy.

I walked the girls through a simple mindfullness and PAUSE technique before reacting.

And we ended the session by sharing one thing we’re proud of from 2025!! Because, the kids did big things too. Guide them to build that self esteem.

Our kids deserve spaces like this to slow down, feel supported, and rest too. ✨🤎
