An Update From The Polka Dot Tail ā¤ļø
Over the past couple of weeks, weāve been overwhelmed by the encouragement and support so many of you have shown us. Whether you stopped into the store, sent a message, shared our posts, prayed for us, or simply told us how excited you were for what might be nextāthank you. It means more than you know.
We want to acknowledge the confusion. Once word began circulating that changes were coming, many of you reached out concerned that The Polka Dot Tail was closing. Rather than allow rumors and uncertainty to grow, we chose to share the opportunity we were exploring before every detail had been finalized.
We understand this created excitement and raised expectations, and we are truly sorry for the emotional roller coaster that followed. It was never our intention to mislead anyone. We genuinely believed we had found a path that could benefit everyone involved, and it breaks our hearts that it did not come together as hoped.
After much prayer, thoughtful conversation, and careful evaluation, we were ultimately unable to move forward with the opportunity.
This was not an easy outcome, but we have a responsibility to make decisions that protect the long-term health of the business we have worked so hard to build.
Our mission hasn't changed.
We remain committed to bringing you trusted products, honest guidance, and A Splash of Better.
This experience reminded us how grateful we are for this community. Your support was never simply about a buildingāit was about what we have built together.
The future is still bright. We have exciting new products arriving, our anniversary celebration is coming soon, and we will continue investing in the products, education, relationships, and experience that make this little store so special.
Please keep everyone involved in your prayers. We truly believe this opportunity began with good intentions and a shared hope that something wonderful could come from it.
