It's official. SanAir(Centek) is now NELAP-accredited for PFAS testing in drinking water.
The Virginia Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program has added EPA Methods 533 and 537.1 Rev 2 to our scope of accreditation, effective August 31 (VELAP Laboratory ID #460251).
What that means for Virginia utilities: PFAS results from a Virginia lab to fulfill your monitoring requirements in accordance with the EPA's National Primary Drinking Water Regulation. No reciprocity conversation.
⚡ No delay to turnaround times to ship samples out-of-state.
We cover the full 533 and 537.1 lists, including PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFNA, HFPO-DA (GenX) and all Hazard Index components, with detection limits at 1 to 2 ppt.
Initial monitoring deadlines land in 2027. The utilities selecting partners now are the ones who won't be scrambling later.
Forever chemicals. Actionable answers.
We'll be at WaterJam September 15-17. Booth #120.
