You’ve put a lot of work into your training and into your race. To top things off, you’ll want to recover just as hard.

💪🏽 Lymphatic drainage sessions involve light-pressure massage techniques that are specifically focused on supporting the lymphatic system.

🛠️As the body enters repair & rebuild mode post-race, the lymphatic system serves as:

1️⃣ a delivery highway for hydration to our tissues
2️⃣ a highway for our first responder cells 🚑 for the repair process
3️⃣ a drain for toxins, inflammation, and swelling
4️⃣ a way to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system (the rest, digest, and recovery side of the nervous system)
5️⃣ a way to reduce muscles spasms and pain

Sessions can be performed over shorts & tshirt or loose-fitting clothing. They’re catered you any specific areas you’d like to focus on.

Here is what a free Discovery Call is actually for:

1️⃣ - Safety & Efficiency: Navigating the medical system can feel like endless hoops. We talk through not just your symptoms, but the full context of your life - what’s going on, what matters, what’s in the way. From there, you get clear guidance on next steps. Sometimes PT isn’t the right first move, and that’s okay. If that’s the case, I’ll connect you with the right resources so you have a clear, direct path to the care you actually need.

2️⃣ - Best Service: Not sure which option is the right fit - or if I’m the right fit? That’s exactly what this call is for. If PT is the best first move, we’ll walk through your options based on your specific needs and get you set up with the right one.

3️⃣ - Community First: Tribu is built on community. I’ve been treating in the greater Tacoma area for 10+ years and I’m intentional about my referral network. If you want to work together but cash pay isn’t an option right now - call anyway. I’m happy to point you toward in-network PTs who could best support you.

🎉 4 Years of Care
Today marks four years since I opened my doors and took a big leap into the wild and wonderful world of private practice ownership.

If you haven’t met me yet, hi 👋🏼 I’m Dr. Mary! Four years ago, I was working full time as a staff physical therapist while building my practice up on the side. If you didn’t know, Tribu started as a fully mobile practice where I’d see patients before/after my work shifts or on the weekends and I drove allllll over Pierce County (and beyond😆).

📍I was lucky to find places to plant my feet in and .fit as I grew.

🤝🏽 And I’ve been grateful to build (and continue to build) a wonderful network of trusted providers as well as rad humans with rad small businesses in Tacoma - laying roots down in this sweet community of ours. 🩵

💪🏽 I also want to acknowledge that many in our communities near and far are hurting right now. Keep leaning on each other - small ripples can turn into big waves of change and community is everything. Let’s do this, Tacoma. Here’s to another year 🔥

🏔From Trail to Table 🍽

Tribu PT will be raising funds to donate to Eloise’s Cooking Pot. We will be selling running/trail buffs until supplies are gone and 100% of the profits will be donated.

🍎Eloise’s, supported through the Making a Difference Foundation 501c, provides healthy meals and essential groceries to families in need throughout Tacoma and Pierce County. They’re committed to ending food insecurity by offering fresh, culturally relevant food and fostering a supportive community.

They serve more than 82,000 individuals each month through its main food bank, mobile routes, home-delivery program, and community distribution sites. It’s the largest food bank in pierce county.
