Oh hey, another selfie 🤪⁣

February would’ve been 9 years since I started wearing glasses 🤓 back in college, my astigmatism started to affect my vision and I got my first pair of glasses. Since then, I dabbled in contact use but ultimately embraced just rocking my glasses 👓 ⁣

Did you know that pregnancy can change your vision? Yep. After getting pregnant the first time, my vision got worse! And a little more with each subsequent pregnancy 😣 which meant new prescriptions and eye appointments. And let’s be honest, ain’t nobody got time for that 👎🏽 ⁣

So in October, I made the decision to have a more permanent solution: LASIK. It all happened super fast actually. I had a consult to learn more about the surgery right before Halloween and after literal seconds of lasers in the eyeballs, I was seeing 20/20 by Thanksgiving 😄 ⁣

Since then, I’ll occasionally reach up to my face to adjust my phantom glasses 😂 it’s happening less often now, I promise! But I love not having to deal with steam, raindrops, and handsy kids. Oh, and my fav thing is wearing sunglasses 😎 so stay tuned for those selfies coming up on sunny spring days and this summer! ☀️ ⁣
